2. Belligerence – warlike/ aggressively hostile nature
The armies’ belligerence daunted the people living in that area.

3. Aspersion – act of slander
Famously known for his aspersion towards other people, he is now isolated.

4. Indigence –poverty, impoverished condition
The influx of the immigrants aggravated the indigence in the town.

5. Tenacity – quality of retaining something
With great tenacity, he becomes prodigious as a private eye.
