19/4

1.       Apothecary – a person who made and sold medicine
·         Gauis is the famous royal apothecary who happened to be practicing magic during King Uther’s rule.

2.       Façade
#the front of the building
·         Zeus Hotel’s façade is expected to finish by this June.

#the way sb/sth appears to be which is different from the way it is (superficial appearance)
·         Krystal maintains a façade of wealth in order to win Hardy’s heart.

3.       Waifish – looking thin and frail, often with ragged clothing (homeless/neglected)
·         The waifish figure I bumped into in the streets was surprisingly Hannah, who used to be an arrogant rich lady.

4.       Androgynous – having both male and female characteristics
·         Being androgynous, Jason is often mistaken as a girl and is harassed by other boys.

5.       Justifiable – acceptable ( done for good purposes)

·         Deception is justifiable when one has to protect one’s life, or even when it is the best way to save a relationship.
